ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR ALLEGED TRESPASS INCIDENT

Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged trespass incident on Sunday afternoon.

An RPD report said at approximately 3:20 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Roseburg Regional Airport on Northwest Aviation Drive after a caller said a man was climbing the barbed wire fence. Officers contacted the 37-year-old who said he jumped two fences into the airport because he was told by a passerby that it was a short cut to Northeast Stephens Street.

The man was charged with second-degree criminal trespass. Bail was set at $1,250.
