Roseburg Police jailed a man for alleged harassment on Saturday evening.

An RPD report said just before 5:30 p.m. officers responded to CHI Mercy Medical Center on Northwest Stewart Parkway regarding a man that was allegedly attacking an employee. Officers contacted the 31-year-old who said he punched the victim because he did not like the way that she looked at him.

The suspect was charged with harassment and detained on $2,500 bail.
