A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect through 10:00 p.m. Sunday for mountain areas in southern Oregon.
Forecasters at the National Weather Service said additional accumulations of 6 to 10 inches of snow are expected. Winds will gust up to 30 miles per hour over exposed terrain.
The Advisory area includes the south central and Southern Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou Mountains. It applies to Crater Lake, Diamond Lake Junction, Willamette Pass and Lake of the Woods on highways 140, 230, 118 and 58.
Forecasters said travel could still be difficult.
