Roseburg Police jailed a man for unauthorized use of a vehicle on Monday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 3:30 p.m. officers responded after a caller said a man was traying to gain access into numerous vehicles in the parking lot of Department of Human Services in the 700 block of West Harvard Avenue.

The 32-year-old had reportedly gained access into a vehicle prior to the officer’s arrival and allegedly tossed the belongings all over the inside.
