Roseburg Police jailed a woman for an alleged theft incident on Tuesday morning.

An RPD report said at 7:45 a.m. officers responded after a shoplifter was detained at a business in the 700 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. Upon arrival, the 53-year-old reportedly admitted to stealing $10 worth of groceries. She was detained without issue and charged with third-degree theft.

Bail was set at $1,250.
