Roseburg Police jailed a man for an alleged fraud incident on Tuesday.
An RPD report said at 10:00 a.m. officers responded to a business in the 400 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard after a caller said a man had used a stolen credit card for a multiple night stay at the location. He was identified as 31-year-old Joshua Girard.
Girard reportedly used a photo shopped picture of a credit card belonging to a victim who lived in Australia. He was contacted and interviewed on the matter. Girard was arrested on charges on first-degree counts of fraudulent use of a credit card, criminal possession of a forged instrument and theft, two counts of computer crime, second-degree theft and for a warrant.
Girard was detained on $12,000 bail.
