Roseburg Police jailed a man following an overnight incident early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 2:15 a.m. 43-year-old Brian Delsie was contacted at the Adapt building in the 400 block of Northeast Winchester Street. Delsie was allegedly intoxicated which was in violation of his parole stipulations. Officers called the suspect’s parole officer, who authorized a detainer.

When Delsie was taken into custody, he allegedly actively resisted. After a brief struggle, the man was detained in handcuffs. It was later learned that Delsie had reportedly damaged property at the Adapt building. He was charged with resisting arrest, second-degree counts of criminal mischief and criminal trespass and for a parole violation. Delsie was held on $7,500 bail.
