Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive on $250,000 bail due to a warrant out of Medford, on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 3:00 p.m. 45-year-old Robert Deane was contacted by officers at the Public Safety Center in the 700 block of Southeast Douglas Avenue after he showed up to turn himself in for the warrant. Once the warrant for first-degree counts of rape and sex abuse was confirmed, Deane was taken into custody without incident.
