MYRTLE CREEK MAN CITED FOR DUII EARLY THURSDAY

A Myrtle Creek man was cited by Roseburg Police for driving under the influence of intoxicants early Thursday.

An RPD report said at 1:10 a.m. an officer witnessed the 49-year-old commit a traffic violation while driving south on Southeast Stephens Street near Southeast Washington Avenue. The officer stopped the driver and saw signs of impairment. The man agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. He was transported to corrections where he was released after being cited. He was also given a citation for failure to drive within a lane. His vehicle was picked up by a family member.
