MASTER FOOD PRESERVERS WORKSHOP ON SOURDOUGH STARTER

The Oregon State University Extension Service is holding a Master Food Preservers Workshop next month.

“The Yeast of my Worries: Dealing with Sourdough Starter” is the topic. Master Food Preservers will guide participants in the creation and care of a starter, help navigate some of the most common problems, and share some amazing discard recipes.

Attendees can also bring their pressure canners so they can be tested. This should be done annually.
