The City of Roseburg has openings for those interested in being on a city commission or committee.

A City release said applications are being accepted to fill vacancies on the Roseburg Library Commission or the Budget Committee to serve in an advisory capacity to the city council.

The Library Commission has one vacancy while the Budget Committee, which meets temporarily as needed in the spring to review the city’s proposed annual operating budget, has three vacancies.

Applicants for the Library Commission must live within Roseburg’s urban growth boundary. Those wishing to serve on the Budget Committee must live within the city limits. The application deadline for the Budget Committee is 5:00 p.m. on March 29th. There is no deadline for the Library Commission applications, which will be reviewed weekly. The vacancies will remain open until filled.
