Celebration of Literacy continues with more events this week.
The month-long series of activities is presented by Altrusa International of Roseburg and the Umpqua Literacy Council.
On Thursday, Roseburg Public Library will have an after-school event featuring Magic in Books. Library staff will give away books and do crafts with the students from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday starts the production of the Literacy Play. It will be at Roseburg High School starting at 10:30 a.m. The play will be presented a total of six times, through March 1st. Currently over 3,200 students and chaperones have signed up to attend.
The final event for this week will be Magic in Books at the Yoncalla Library starting Saturday at 11:00 a.m. It will feature lunch and a magic show.
