A rider was hurt in a motorcycle versus mattress crash on Sunday afternoon.

An Oregon State Police report said the accident happened just before 5:00 p.m. when the bike hit the mattress which had fallen out the back of a pickup truck on Interstate 5 northbound about a mile north of the Winston exit.

The motorcyclist had had minor injuries due to the wreck. The pickup driver was given a citation for having a leaking sifting load.
