Roseburg Police jailed a fugitive following a traffic stop Thursday night.
An RPD report said at approximately 10:50 p.m. 37-year-old Jered Koser was stopped for traffic violations in the 300 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard. During the stop, Koser allegedly gave the officer his brother’s name. Officers later identified the driver, who then admitted to giving them a false name because he knew there were warrants for arrest.
Koser was charged with a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended, giving false information to a police officer, failure to carry or present and for three warrants. He was detained on $31,270 bail.
