Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Wednesday afternoon.

An RPD report said at 4:00 p.m. officers contacted the 39-year-old after he called to turn himself in on a previous case. Officers met with man near the entrance to corrections where he admitted to violating a restraining order on February 11th at an address in the 800 block of Northeast Nash Street.

The man was detained on $5,000 bail. He was released later in the day.
