A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police Monday for an alleged prior theft incident.

An RPD report said officers contacted the 51-year-old at 1:30 p.m. in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway as there was cause to arrest him for stealing from a nearby business approximately one month ago.

He was cited for second-degree theft and was released on the scene.
