A contractor working for the Oregon Department of Transportation is closing the Exit 125 northbound loop on-ramp for eastbound traffic nightly through Thursday from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

The loop on-ramp is located at the southeast corner of the interchange, next to the northbound off-ramp. All other ramps at Exit 125 remain open. During the ramp closures, local motorists planning to travel north on Interstate 5 are advised to use alternate routes.

The work is part of a $2.4 million project that will improve safety and the flow of traffic at the interchange by adding a dedicated right-turn lane to the northbound off-ramp, replacing traffic signals and upgrading sidewalk ADA ramps. Prime contractor Knife River Materials is scheduled to have all work completed this summer.
