It appears that a Chick-fil-A restaurant is not coming to the Roseburg area anytime soon.

In response to an inquiry from News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN, a company statement said, “We are always evaluating potential new locations in the hopes of serving existing and new customers great food with remarkable service. While we hope to serve the Roseburg community in the future, we do not currently have any locations to confirm”.

Headquartered in College Park Georgia, the chain operates 3,059 restaurants across 48 states as well as in the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The company also has operations in Canada. Chick-fil-A has 10 locations in Oregon with more proposed in cities including Albany, Corvallis, Springfield and Portland. The chain began operations in 1946. All locations are closed on Sundays.
