Three Roseburg juveniles were cited by Roseburg Police after an alleged shoplifting incident on Thursday afternoon.

An RPD report said just after 2:30 p.m. officers were dispatched to Sherm’s Thunderbird in the 2500 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway after a caller said the females had been detained in the loss prevention office. The juveniles, ages 15 and 16, had allegedly taken two alcoholic beverages and several packages of crackers and then attempted to leave the store.

Loss prevention staff stopped the females before they could leave the property. They were each cited for third-degree theft and then released to their parents.
