Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Tuesday.

An RPD report said at 1:20 p.m. officers were dispatched to contact the man in the 400 block of West Umpqua Street. The 33-year-old was not allowed to be at that location due to an active restraining order. The man was taken into custody and detained on $5,000 bail. He was released later in the day.
