The annual Battle of the Badges is coming next month for first responders with the City of Sutherlin.

A City release said the event is a friendly competition between police and fire staff, as they try to recruit the most blood donors from their communities. It will be held on Thursday, March 21st.

To schedule an appointment to donate blood that day, go to: www.redcrossblood.org  and use the code: SutherlinPD.
