Roseburg Police jailed a man after a reported harassment incident on Monday evening.

An RPD report said at approximately 7:45 p.m. an officer contacted a victim in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street regarding a suspect allegedly punching him in the face. Officers learned the victim was using a leaf blower to clean the parking lot of the property.

The suspect allegedly approached the victim and began to pull on the leaf blower stating the man was using it incorrectly.  The 34-year-old then reportedly punched the victim in the face.

The suspect was contacted and taken into custody. He was charged with harassment and parole violation.
