MYRTLE CREEK WOMAN CHARGED WITH DUII EARLY TUESDAY

Myrtle Creek woman was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants following a traffic stop early Tuesday.

A Roseburg Police report said a few minutes before 1:00 a.m. an officer witnessed the 29-year-old commit traffic violations in the 400 block of Southeast Washington Avenue after leaving a nearby business. The officer stopped the woman and saw signs of impairment. She agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly.

The woman was transported to corrections where she was cited and released to a sober friend. Her vehicle was impounded by a tow company.
