The South Umpqua District School Board recently named the finalists to be the district’s next superintendent and is holding a Finalist Forum on Monday.

The finalists are:

*Erika Bare, current assistant superintendent in the Ashland School District

*Brad Capener, current superintendent for the Jefferson School District in Jefferson, Oregon

*Carl Simpson, current principal of South Umpqua High School

At the forum, staff, students and community members will have an opportunity to meet the candidates. The event will be in the library at South Umpqua High School from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Comments will be provided for participants to share thoughts with the school board.
