A transient was jailed for an alleged trespass incident in Drain early Saturday.

A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at 1:30 a.m. a deputy responded to the 100 block of East B Avenue. A victim advised that a 61-year old man would not leave her residence after being told to numerous times. The suspect had been there for two days.

The deputy contacted the man, who still refused to leave. He was taken into custody and charged with first-degree trespass. The man was detained without bail and was released on Sunday.
