Roseburg Police cited a man for a littering near waters incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 6:40 a.m. the 40-year old was contacted at his camp at Gaddis Park in the 800 block of Northwest Highland Street. His camp consisted of two tents and a substantial amount of trash covering at least thirty feet by fifty feet and into Sleepy Hollow Creek, which runs between the park and Roseburg Memorial Gardens.

The man was cited and released for depositing trash in waters and for prohibited camping.
