DRIVER CITED AFTER ACCIDENT DURING MORNING COMMUTE

A driver was cited after a two-vehicle accident during the morning commute on Wednesday.

A Roseburg Police report said at about 7:55 a.m. officers responded to the 2600 block of Northeast Diamond Lake Boulevard. An investigation showed the driver of a box truck made a dangerous left turn from the parking lot of a business onto Diamond Lake. A second vehicle was sideswiped by the truck as it was traveling east on Diamond Lake. The driver who caused the wreck was cited for making a dangerous left turn. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.
