The City of Roseburg has vacancies on two city commissions plus one committee.

A City release said applications are being accepted for:

*Three vacancies on the Economic Development Commission

*One vacancy on the Library Commission

*Three vacancies on the Budget Committee

Each volunteer position is appointed to serve a three-year term except for one seat on the Economic Development Commission. The person appointed to fill that seat will serve the remainder of a term until December 31st, 2025.

Applicants for the Library Commission must live within Roseburg’s Urban Growth Boundary. Applicants for the Budget Committee must live in the city limits. Applicants for the Economic Development Commission must be Roseburg residents or own property or a business in the city limits.

The application for the Budget Committee is 5:00 p.m. Friday March 24th. There is no deadline for the commission applications, which will be reviewed weekly. The vacancies remain open until filled.
