A fugitive was detained by Roseburg Police on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 2:00 p.m. officers contacted the 33-year old man near the intersection of Northwest Aviation Drive and Northwest Edenbower Boulevard, knowing he had multiple warrants for his arrest. When the man was told he was under arrest, he ran away. After a foot pursuit, the man was detained for three warrants.

Bail was set at $5,000.
