A Roseburg man was injured in a pickup versus scooter accident on Friday.

A Roseburg Police report said just before 6:40 a.m. a motorist made a right turn onto Northwest Stewart Parkway from Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and did not see the scooter rider enter the crosswalk. They collided, throwing the rider off his scooter. \

The scooter was essentially totaled and the rider was transported to CHI Mercy Medical Center for complaint of leg pain. The investigation into how exactly the collision occurred is pending as both sides had different stories on where the pickup and scooter collided.
