WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY THROUGH 10:00 A.M. WEDNESDAY

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 10:00 a.m. Wednesday for parts of southern Oregon.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected, with amounts up to 5 inches. Snow impacts will lower to around 1,400 feet Wednesday morning.

The Advisory area includes central Douglas County, Josephine and Jackson counties and eastern Curry County. It applies to portions of Interstate 5 from Ashland to Rogue River, the passes between Grants Pass and Roseburg, Hays Hill Summit, Jacksonville Hill, and highways 62, 234, 140, 238, 42 near Camas Mountain, and 46 east of Cave Junction. This includes cities throughout the Rogue Valley.
