ROSEBURG POLICE JAIL MAN FOR REPORTED CRIMINAL TRESPASS

Roseburg Police jailed a man for a reported criminal trespass incident early Monday.

An RPD report said just after 2:30 a.m. a victim reported that a man was trespassing in his backyard near West Harvard Avenue. Officers were unable to locate the suspect. About 30 minutes later, the victim found the man at Riverview Terrace in the 1900 block of West Harvard Avenue, and blocked his vehicle in.

The suspect allegedly tried to drive away and his sedan struck the victim’s pickup. The man was charged with second-degree counts of criminal trespass and criminal mischief. Bail was set at $5,000.
