Roseburg Police jailed a man for a restraining order violation on Thursday.

An RPD report said at 1:35 p.m. officers responded to a business in the 1300 block of Northeast Stephens Street after a caller said there had been a restraining order violation. The victim reportedly had an active RO against the suspect, preventing him from contacting her and from being at that location.

The 60-year old was taken into custody. Bail was set at $5,000. The suspect was released later in the day.
