Deputies with the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office jailed two Eugene residents after contacting them in north county on Wednesday.

A DCSO report said at 6:20 p.m. a deputy located a stolen SUV in the 500 block of Bear Creek Road in the Curtin area. A 29-year old woman was charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and for driving while suspended. A 32-year old man was charged with being a felon in possession of a restricted weapon and unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was reportedly found to have a dagger knife and approximately 30 grams of meth.

Both people were detained without bail.
