Roseburg Police arrested Tahnie West on multiple charges stemming from a short car chase Thursday afternoon in Roseburg.

West allegedly stole a car from the Domino’s parking lot on West Harvard Avenue around 4 p.m. The vehicle owner had left the car running and unlocked while he went inside the business.

West was located by a Douglas County Sheriff’s deputy traveling south on Interstate-5 and was stopped at milepost 110 after a short pursuit. The 27-year-old woman was allegedly in possession of over $1,000 worth of property belonging to the stolen car’s owner.

While West was at Douglas County corrections, RPD says that she was linked to two more car break-ins. The woman allegedly admitted to breaking into the vehicles earlier in the day.

West is being held without bail on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, first degree theft, possession of a stolen vehicle, attempt to elude a police officer, reckless driving, second degree disorderly conduct, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and third degree theft.
