The deadline is approaching for educators in Douglas County to apply for grants through the Fund for Teachers.
Officials with the Roseburg Public School District said this is a chance for educators to enhance their teaching journey through grants of up to $5,000 for individuals, and up to $10,000 for teams.
The grants are supported through the Ford Family Foundation with the intention to help local educators elevate their teaching practice, inspire their students, empower their schools and communities, and create teacher-designed summer learning opportunities.
The deadline to apply for the Fund for Teachers grant program is Thursday, January 18th.
