Roseburg Police responded to a three-vehicle crash during the afternoon commute on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 5:30 p.m. the accident took place in front of the Department of Human Services building in the 700 block of West Harvard Avenue. Officers determined that an SUV had rear ended another SUV while the second driver was waiting at a stop light. The force of the crashed caused the vehicle that was hit to strike the back of a sedan.

The driver who caused the accident was cited for following too closely. No medical assistance was need and the vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
