A Roseburg man was cited by Roseburg Police for an alleged theft incident on Thursday night.

An RPD report said the 33-year old allegedly stole $170 worth of merchandise from a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. He was found near a business in the 300 block of Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard and the merchandise was recovered.

He was cited for second-degree theft and was released at the scene.
