The Roseburg Lions Club See’s candy sale concludes on Sunday.

The Lion’s bright yellow candy trailer is located in the northwestern corner of Sherm’s Thunderbird parking lot on Northwest Stewart Parkway. Hours are daily 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

100 percent of profits are used to help the club’s projects to assist people in the community. Over the years, the organization has donated or contributed monies to help local sight and hearing recipients, various youth organizations, community projects, cancer research and assistance, Umpqua Community College scholarships, flags for first graders as well as their Santa Sleigh program to help school children receive gifts and clothing at Christmas time.

Along with purchasing candy, the public is also welcome to bring their used eye glasses to the candy trailer. Donated used eye glasses are put to use and help bring the gift of sight to many who are less fortunate.
