A Roseburg woman was jailed on the charge of depositing trash within 100 yards of waters on Wednesday morning.

An RPD report said at 11:00 a.m. the 36-year old was contacted at a transient camp near the “s” curves in the 1400 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. The camp was full of trash and some of the trash was reportedly spilling into Newton Creek. The occupant of the camp was taken into custody without incident. She was detained on $2,500 bail.
