Camp Millennium will launch monthly community meetings in January.

Camp director Mindy Bean said the goal is to generate awareness in the community about the camp. Bean said their mission is to support families with parents or children battling cancer.

Meeting attendees will be able to ask questions, meet some of the families being supported, and learn how to get involved through volunteering or financial support.

Bean said the first meeting will be January 16th at 5:00 p.m. at the Abby’s Pizza annex room on Northeast Stephens Street. Pizza and soda will be provided for free. To learn more about Camp Millennium and the upcoming meetings, call 677-0600.
