Wet roads contributed to drivers losing control of their vehicles resulting in 2 freeway wrecks on Sunday night.
Oregon State Police reports said at 6:50 p.m. a sports car was southbound on Interstate 5 between Wilbur and Sutherlin when the driver encountered the wet roadway and his vehicle collided with an adjacent guardrail. The car sustained major front-end damage as a result of the accident.
At about 11:15 p.m. a pickup was northbound on the freeway in the Myrtle Creek area when the driver lost control and his vehicle collided with an adjacent barrier. The pickup sustained major passenger side damage.
Neither driver was injured. Both vehicles had to be towed.
