Sutherlin Police jailed a man for alleged prior criminal mischief incidents on Sunday.

An SPD report said on November 17th, a suspect in a grey hoodie and baggy jeans allegedly threw rocks at a victim when he was entering a business in the 1300 block of West Central Avenue. The man then reportedly broke the window of a second victim’s vehicle while the victim was sitting inside.

The suspect then fled on foot towards South Comstock Road before law enforcement could arrive. 28-year old Joshua Eatherton was later determined to be the suspect. He was contacted and admitted to both incidents. He was charged with harassment, and second-degree counts of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Eatherton was detained on $11,250 bail.
