Roseburg Police responded to five DUII incidents between Friday evening and Sunday morning.

Information from RPD said a 22-year old was involved in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of West Harvard Avenue and West Broccoli Street at 5:50 p.m. Friday. An investigation determined the man attempted to make a left turn onto West Harvard directly in front of a second vehicle. During the course of the investigation, officers allegedly observed signs of impairment. The driver agreed to perform standard field sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. He was charged with driving under the influence of intoxicants and detained on $10,000 bail.

On Saturday at 3:20 p.m. officers received multiple reports of an intoxicated man leaving a business in the 2100 block of Northwest Stewart Parkway. Officers conducted a traffic stop where the 26-year old allegedly showed signs of impairment. He reportedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests and was taken into custody. The man was transported to corrections where he was cited and released for DUII-alcohol and a misdemeanor count of driving while suspended.

Other DUII incidents involved traffic stops:

*Saturday night just after 9:20 p.m. in the 200 block of Southeast Jackson Street

*Sunday morning at 12:15 a.m. on Old Highway 99 South near Speedway Road

*Sunday morning just after 1:45 a.m. in the 300 block of Southeast Jackson Street

One of these drivers allegedly performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests. The other two refused standard field sobriety tests. One was cited after a search warrant was obtained and the driver produced a breath sample. The other was cited after a search warrant was obtained and her blood was drawn. They were released after citations were issued.
