Roseburg has received above normal rain for both the month and the rain year.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service told News Radio 93-9 FM and 1240 KQEN that the Roseburg Regional Airport has received 3.57 inches of rain in December as of Sunday. That is 1.64 inches of rain above the normal amount of 1.93 inches.

For the rain year, which runs October 1st through September 30th, Roseburg has gotten 10.45 inches of rain. That is 1.48 inches above the normal amount of 8.97 inches.

The airport received .037 inches of rain on Sunday. Roseburg should stay generally dry this week with highs in the low to mid 50s and overnight lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.
