A distracted driver caused a two-vehicle wreck in Roseburg on Thursday night.

A Roseburg Police report said at 6:30 p.m. a 43-year old man turned his sedan east from Northwest Kline Street to Northwest Garden Valley Boulevard crashing into a pickup which was in the turn lane on Northwest Garden Valley.

The driver told officers that he was distracted because he was on his cell phone looking at his DoorDash app. The driver who caused the accident was cited for operating a motor vehicle while on a cellular phone. His vehicle was towed away due to its damage. The pickup was pushed into a nearby parking lot until a tow truck could arrive.
