Roseburg Police jailed a man on a charge of first-degree theft on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 9:00 p.m. the 66-year old Medford resident allegedly refused to return a wheelchair at CHI Mercy Medical Center on Northwest Stewart Parkway. The wheelchair was worth $1,600. The man was taken into custody without incident.

He was detained without bail.
