Roseburg Police jailed a man for a weapon law violation after an alleged incident on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at about 5:00 p.m. a victim left a residence in the 400 block of West Carroll Court after a verbal disturbance. While she was leaving the driveway, 60-year Paul Goodson reportedly shot one round at her vehicle with a pistol. He was contacted and taken into custody without further incident

Goodson was charged with attempted first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and for menacing. Goodson was detained on $100,000 bail.
