Roseburg Lion’s Club has its See’s Candy sale underway for the holiday season.

It is being held to help support the club’s various projects in the local community. Candy sales continues until December 24th or until the candy sells out. The Lion’s bright yellow candy trailer is located in the northwest corner of the Sherm’s Thunderbird parking lot. Hours of operation are daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

100 percent of profits are used to assist people in the community. Over the years, the Lions Club has donated or contributed monies to help with sight and hearing recipients, various youth organizations, cancer research and assistance, Umpqua Community College scholarships, flags for first graders and more.

The public can also bring their used eye glasses to the trailer. They are put to use and help bring the gift of sight to the less fortunate.
