Disabled American Veterans has a benefits seminar coming to Portland later this week.

A release said the non-profit organization provides support for veterans of all generations and their families, helping more than 1 million veterans each year.

The Information Seminar is designed to help veterans and their families obtain the services and benefits they have earned. The Portland seminar will be on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the DAV Bingo Hall at 8725 Northeast Sandy Boulevard.

Veterans attending should bring identification, their Social Security number, and any other pertinent documentation regarding their military service. DAV membership is not required to utilize these services.
